About Me
Mood:  a-ok

Today I started my first blog on the internet. Seems a bit weird that I am telling my feelings to the World Wide Web, but I could get used to it, after all, I want everyone to know how insane I am...Right?  Well I don't actually want you to think I am possibly the most insane person to walk this earth, I just want to let you know that I am just as sane as the next person in line. Here's my story.

My name is Sarah Jane Evans and I was born in London, England and moved to a small town in Southern California. My parents, Anne and John, met while they were in Amsterdam, dad was on a business trip and mum was doing her own thing there (don't ask!!). Dad was this great businessman that was the best of the best, the one everyone looked up too and wanted to suck up to; Mum was a struggling singer, singing her way through the world, wanting to be the next Madonna. However when they met in Amsterdam, everything changed for them. They fell in love the moment they met and the rest was history.

They married on April 19, 1989; Mum was nineteen and Dad was thirty-one. Nine months later, I was born. I had been the cutest baby born that year, according to my mother, brown curly hair with brilliant chocolate brown eyes and rosy cheeks too. My dad, being the biggest sci-fi nerd on earth, named me after Sarah Jane Smith from the "Doctor Who" series, saying that she was his favourite companion the Doctor ever had. Mum had no complaints about the name.

For the first few years of my life, we were the perfect family. Dad had a successful career, and Mum was the perfect housewife raising the perfect daughter.  Around the age of six, Mum was pregnant again and by June of my sixth birthday, I welcomed a baby sister named Emilie. At the age of ten, Dad moved the family to Los Angeles, CA where he managed the L.A. based company. At first it was hard for the entire family moving from England to America, but soon we got used our new home, however the big city was too much for Mum, so he moved us to a smaller town that was only an hour's drive to work. We liked it a lot; our neighbors were friendly, schools well-kept and local government well organized.

I didn't make friends easily as I did while living in London. Everyone was so different there. Instead, I read books ranging from Jane Austen to J.K. Rowling, ignoring the outside world. At school, the only friends I did have were the children of our neighbors and nothing more than that. I had received the top grades in every class and eventually the top of the school, graduating with top honors and a 4.5 GPA. In the fall, I'll be going to my dad's old college in England to study both the French and English language, in hopes of becoming a teacher in France. Well this is all I have to write for now...I'll be back later.
